Also known as Kyla Nicole, she's a Johannesburg-based singer, songwriter, creative director and entrepreneur with 15 years of experience across the music and creative industries.
A multi-disciplinary creative rooted in songwriting, recording and artist development, Kyla has released multiple radio-charting records, including Top 40 hits and number ones, and has worked with highly recognised artists and companies across the globe. Her evolution from Kyla Nicole to Skys A Blu marked a new chapter in her artistic career, eventually leading to Skys A Blu Studios itself: a Johannesburg creative hub built to support emerging artists, producers, writers and vocalists.
Kyla is also the founder of Blu Blvd, a creative consultancy working across brand concepts, content, campaigns, visuals and creative strategy — connecting music, culture and visual storytelling into distinctive creative worlds rather than simply executing briefs.
